My daughter is doing a report on the Southern Colonies, and we are in the need of some help. ;o)

they were all suited for agriculture by soil, climate and coastal plain. Rice, cotton, tobacco were the predominant crops.

they all had easy sea port access

they all had rivers leading from the inland to the seaport

thats all I can think of- oh yeah- I know-- they all had rednecks riding around in pickups with guns and drinking bud light heading from hunting to the NASCAR race- at least thats what this south carolinian does in his spare time...

ok, here's as much as i can remember: New England- Economy- something about fishing idk... Climate- Rocky soil, long, harsh winters, mild summers Mid Atlantic- Economy- Post cities, fishing Climate... moderate weather... idk about soil tho Southern- Economy- Plantations and farming Climate- Rich soil, hot summers That's all I remember. I did that at the beginning of last year, so its still fuzzy, but i hope i was of SOME help :)
