OH FOR GODSAKE ..... something tells me that the solid of anti-exertions posters are truly purely one PONY .. why is it that 9 out of ten questions asking detrimental questions adversarial to exertions save MAKING an same SPELLING MISTAKE .. Libs HAVE lied to us ONE too many cases. Some people just like to find fault no matter what...possibly they are threatened - you might be showing them up!!
Let it go for a bit and then keep a careful eye on why it occurs and with who to see if there is a pattern.
It might just be in your best interest to move on - you have to love your job.

Let it go...eventually they will realize you got the goods (probably when it gets really busy and they have to depend on you for something)...if it gets really bad you might want to tell them directly that you understand your job and its upsetting you that they still state the obvious, and that you would like them to stop.

There will always be someone questioning your competency no matter how long you're working at a restaurant. Don't pay it much thought.

i think it take 6month to year for people to start minding their own business. i am going through same thing but been at work for 6 months, they still look at me like i am not important. idiots.
