What is your life chain ?

I'm doing a a questionaire, and I do not know what a "life-chain" is, can anyone help me ?????

This may not be the right answer to your question as I'm sure there's many other "life-chains' out there, but a life chain is a marking on the palm used by fortune tellers to tell how long you will live.

Also, a life-chain could be a group of people whose phone numbers you have handy in case of an emergency or check on you if you are an invalid.
