if i had to pick it would be for anyone in my family and that includes my wife's' side of the family. but placed in a situation
where the other person was a stranger i feel like i would act the same. a example, a few weeks ago outside of the local wal-mart
a mom and a grandmother were looking at some pumpkins
that they always set out front when the buggy, holding a child got loose from them and at that point and time they were not aware
of it, started rolling into traffic, i dropped what i had in my arms, and without thinking ran out into traffic and grabbed the buggy
that held the child, who had started to cry. the mom got there in second place. i don't know what would of happened to the child
but the place was very busy with traffic, i was thanked and then i left. sometimes you just know what you are going to do until you are faced with a situation.

I do not intend on getting into that position, and there is no reason to die for anyone, why not win the battle and the war. I don't believe in dead Heroes. Read General Patton

Nothing, actually. But actor/director John Huston once said (and I paraphrase),"most people are lucky that they never have to discover that in the right situation, they're capable of anything."
