i went to a doctor recently to have a physial exam. when he was touching my testicles and my penis, it started to get somewhat hard. i have no thoughts about sex at that time and the worst is that he is a male doctor. im so embarrassed but it did not actually get to the point where it stood in full attention.
anyone with similar experience?

Listen, it happens a lot more frequently than you'd think, and it's nothing to be embarrased about. A lot of guys, especially younger ones can get erections for no reason at all, let alone with any sort of genital stimulation. Doctors are totally used to it, so there's nothing to be embarassed about. If anything, it just means your stuff is functioning properly

I'm a nurse and I have had many clients who experienced this with me. It is COMPLETELY normal, but embarassing of course! Just know that there are worse things that can happen at the doc's office. I've seen a lot of stuff that is WAY worse than someone getting erect during a physical exam. I know it isn't as noticable, but many women get wet during exams. Here's a funny story...well I find it funny anyway! During my first year of nursing school I had to bathe an old man and it was my first time doing this on a real person. I was pretty nervous, but as I was bathing him he got hard and told me he "loved to be touched that way" I was about 18 at the time so I almost died of embarrassment! hahahaha..ok, that's my story...

This is a physiologic response, not a sexual erection. It happens sometimes, and the doctor would not be bothered by it. It's far more embarrassing for you than him/her.
As a nurse, I often saw men with erections in situations where they definitely didn't want them - getting out of bed for the first time after a painful operation, trying to use a bedpan, having their pubic hair shaved for an operation.
Health care professionals take all this in their stride and never imagine it represents a sexual arousal.

Dude don't worry about it. Consider yourself lucky you can get it up so easily. Some men have a problem with that.
I used to work in a hospital. I had to do personal things for the patients. Sometimes the younger men would get an erection. Men with girlfriends who visited them. Meaning not gay. No worries, the doc sees that all the time.
He doesn't think anything of it and neither should you.
