Conservatives work and pay taxes so Liberals can draw welfare.
So it depends on one's perspective.

That's a pretty general question, bud.
And in general, I'd say that if "liberals" (however you interpret that) stand for anything, it is MORE choices for citizens of a free country and "conservatives" are for "less" choices.
If the people trying their hardest to gain control of the GOP could have things their way, there'd be no more condoms on the shelf at the drug store, you wouldn't be able to even get contraceptives, they'd control the content of what you see, read, hear, etc.
There are some mighty scary people out there who may be nuttier than a fruitcake, but they're serious about getting control of the government.

Which side is the best is all opinion. I think that the conservatives are best for America, though. The liberals want us out of Iraq, and the terrorists do too. Would you want to represent a side that the terrorists trying to attack our country support??? There are many, many more issues that we could discuss, like taxes, immigration, etc, and I believe in what the conservatives stand for, but that's just my opinion.

Between the two, liberals are better for America, and for humanity in general. Conservatives are just too full of themselves.

The side that places the interests of America before all other considerations........ although there are mutts in each party. one side does seem to be more rabid about altering the values and traditions that have made our nation the greatest man has ever engineered....

That depends on what direction you want for America. To me, it is the Democrats. But obviously one side can't survive without the other.

Yeah, I'm going to agree on the "Conservative Democrats" answer.
The Republicans are reactionary, theocratic warmongers who want to waste your money. The Democrats are spineless, disorganized wimps who want to waste your money.
We need more strategically-minded, socially liberal, pro-market globalists: Guys who aren't afraid to fight when we need to, but aren't going to start a war just for the hell of it. Guys who don't care what you do with your private life as long as you aren't hurting anybody else. Guys who want to spend tax money on anything that returns a net value to taxpayers, and nothing else.
