Are there any Ipod`s that come close to the Nano?
I know a little girl who is wanting one, but the are $150 - $170.
I think that is way too much to have to pay for something that a child could very easy lose.
Are there any IPOD that will hold about 1000 songs....
Is the only difference in a MP3 player and IPODs that one you can watch movies and other you can`t?

I need advice on IPOD please

Well, Ipods are basically MP3 players that are made by Apple and the Nano is just one of the Ipods available (They have the shuffle - VERY small, but only holds about 250 songs and has no screen, the Nano is the next in the line - small, has a screen and can hold up to 1000 songs, then you have the "full size" Ipod and Ipod video - Can hold up to 8000 songs and can watch videos). You can't watch videos on the Nano either.

I would look into other brands of MP3 players... The Ipods are expensive... Very good, but pricey.

Try Sony, Creative, Archos and Samsung... All good brands and some great players out there!

If she has her heart set on the Ipod range though, try the shuffle... Much cheaper than the Nano.

Hope this helps!

MP3 Players and Ipods can BOTH view or not view movies. It depends on what Ipod or MP3 player you buy.

If you want an Ipod, get her a shuffle. But seriously, there are really good MP3 Players with VIDEO that are less than $60 (or they atleast have a screen). You gotta keep searching for the best one. Try buying one that doesn't cost much, because it's better to buy more expensive ones when she is bigger and more responsible. Good Luck =)

Try the new ipod shuffle. Though its small and has no screen it carries a decent amount of songs, costs around $60 AnD IT LOOKS LIKE A CLIP!
