The question says "Each graph has an equation of the form y=ax^2. Find a.

The picture is of a graph of a parabola, and the point (2,8) is labeled. It's just labeled as (2,8), I mean.

I have no idea how to find a... Can someone help?

just plug the numbers in. if y=8, and x=2,
its 8=a(2^2)
so 8=a(4)
so a=2.

(2,8)=(X,Y)They are coordinates. Just plug in your numbers. x=2 y=8.
