The dialogue went like this:

ANAKIN: "If youre not with me, then youre my enemy!"
OBI WAN: "Only a Sith deals in absolutes".

"ONLY" a sith deals in absolutes? I mean, isnt THAT an absolute by itself?

No

Recognizing that only Siths deal in absolutes does not make one a sith it only makes them aware that they are dealing with a Sith. Obi Wan never gave Anakin an ultimatum. That would have made him a Sith.

No to both. A Sith Lord does not have to deal in absolutes rather if an absolute is dealt, it is by a Sith Lord.

UMMMMMMMMM No...he is saying that only a sith deals in such absolutes like all is black and white no grey areas... there can only be 2 siths at a time the master and the apprentice...the jedi look at everything in every direction they need to look at the whole picture there are no absolutes.

Obi Wan gained't were as helpful yet he turned right into a lot wiser and calmer in that wrestle. Obi Wan even warned Anakin at the same time as he took the intense floor, yet Anakin did not hear.
