When I was (mad enough to be) a teacher if a teenager called their friend gay I used to:
* Stop the lesson
*Look really shocked
* Not get annoyed but tell the class "now why do you think what x has said is really really bad?"
"Is being gay really an insult?"
"x what would you say if I said "you blonde" to you?
Then I'd go on about how calling other people name can hurt you and what would they do if they were a teacher and a pupil came to tell them they are gay, would they really say "you gay" and laugh?
Booh I am starting to miss being a teacher...
Good luck anyway, remember they may give the impression they don't care what you're telling them but they take everything in and it helps them mature!

Don't you hate it when they sensor the word. There is a saying, "Kids will be kids". No matter the age children will make fun of someone. In most cases it's done out of insecurity in themself. To make themselves feel better or to be a part of the crowd. The strongest people are those who don't make fun of others. You can't stop them from doing it. Then again you could say it takes one to know one. I'm sure that would draw retaliations. Screw those *******. If they call you that again say "Only those uncomfortable with their own sexuality run around calling people demeaning names". Take it in stride. The same people who are calling you a f.a.g could be in the closet. There doing it cover it up.

I am sorry to tell you my child, that there is nothing you can do about that. There will always be ignorant people every where you go. Just try to ignore or what I would do is ...I would say yes I am like me or want me.....and maybe they will see that you are not afraid or care about what they say. If you are gay, you have to prepare yourself mentally that these things will happen. So don't change a bit about you, that is who you are? You will see that other kids will come to you and want to be your friends. In my daughters school. there are some gay kids, and because they act like they don't care they don't bother them. Just have faith in yourself and for God to give you strenght to survive this. It will get better. I will ask God to give you peace wherever you are.
I am Boricua and if you want to e-mail me, please do, I am a mother that has been through this and much more. I might be able to give you more advise. God bless.

Just tolerate it.
If you go to authority figures about it, it will get worse not better.
This time in your life will pass. Buck up, and find someone to talk to about it. Get a punching bag, get your parents to put you in martial arts class. Sux, but that's all I got for you, doll.
I'm going to say a prayer for you, for strength. I would encourage you to pray to the Lord, he loves us all. I am gay, and I would never have survived adolescence if I had not prayed.
May you know the Lord Jesus, and have a peaceful eternity.

If you're gay, haven't accepted it, you need too and not let them get to you. They are immature but one day they'll learn they're child or spouse might come out to them as gay. I was tease in school too for being gay and never came out until I was 23. I think apart of me wanted to prove them wrong, that I wasn't gay but I am. It just hurted me that I was treated so badly for something that I couldn't help. So, I hope you have a friend in your life that you can talk to about these things that happen to you, don't never hold your feelings in. If things get too bad for you, you might want to talk to a school guidance councelor or your parents. Just so they'll be aware of what's happening to you in school.

1) ignore it
2) embaress them by telling them off infront if there friends or infront of a lot of people (ps this could backfire so careful on this one)
3)make out w/ a super "hot" girl infront of them ... that'll make there there jaw drop
4)beat the sh!t outta them!!!!
(pss being that im a girl ive never done # 3 but i think that'd deffinatly get them to shut up for a while)

If you're saying gay or f-a-g and you are bi ,gay,or g0y then expect it the name calling to continue and get worse.
Learn to protect yourself take kick boxing as an example you'll need it later on.

Tell your teacher or guidance counselor. Calling people names because of their sexual orientiation is a hate crime and they can be prosecuted by law.

Just don't let it effect you too much. Those people are every where, and I don't think there is any thing that any one can do to change them, only they can change their own behavior.
