i used to like avril. she had that pretty rocker chick look. now she just sold out. shes just another shallow blonde celeberty who is just like the rest of them like jessica simpson, hilary duff, and ashely tisdale.
she used to be that down to earth look who every one admired but know "her head was up in space" and "she needs to come back down to earth" (quotes from sk8ter boy lyrics SHE WROTE HERSELF)
i just dont know...do you think she sold out?
i mean she is even more beautiful now but its just i liked her before.

here are some pictures if you would like to see

I used to like her a lot a few years ago, for the same exact reasons as you, but she's has definitly lost her rocker look. Although I wouldn't automatically assume she sold out because she died her hair blonde. And how do you know she's now shallow like the rest of them?

I still think she's awesome and love her music. I can tell whats music and what isn't (and clearly Paris Hilton's songs are not music. Just had to throw that in there). I'm not digging the blonde hair, but she's got her own life. She can do as she wants, her fans don't get to control what she does or wears.

She has grown up - she is not a skater girl anymore. I think she also has been changed a bit by the industry and the world she lives in. I would think it is very hard to remain the same being in the business.

She was always a sell out. She was always a pop star, but just capitalized on being a so-called "punk" and "rebel." She is as punk rock as Joan Crawford.

i think that she is growing and matureing the way all girls do! but i understand where ur coming from she really didn't need to be blonde and everything, but with marriage and the prospect of kids and all the cool stuff that comes with that maybe she just wanted to change everything in her life not just bits and pieces???

I cant really say as i havent heard any of her recent music, but she certainly looks more grown up, and ready to take on the world, rather than just a scared rebellious, little girl.....

what happened is that her agents told her that if she changes her appearance and becomes the "slutty type" she'll sell more...that's what i think...even thought the girl herself said that she's not those other girls and she is who she is, like it or hate it...she went back on her word..that's what money does to ya, just wait, Lady Sovereign, that lil brit, the feminine eminem, will soon be following the slutty footsteps also, all for that green, lol...mark my words.....ok, i need a life now...lol

Well for sure, she actually started out singing country music, so I guess she sold out in more ways than one!

It's just a phase, gossip is stupid. NO matter what they say, it's what you think that counts.
