Remember, Bush's plan is not to prevent disorder, but, to preserve it. He has pursued this end all along, so that the plunder and control over oil and the region can continue. If Iraq was stable, and out of our control, the agenda of taking advantage of the power vacuum created with the fall of the Soviet Union could not be pursued - that agenda created by the likes of Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and Cheney to name a few believers. Bush's apparent ineptitude is deliberate, not the accident of his lack of skill. I think it has been the mistake of many to think that because he can say "most of our imports come from overseas," that means that the entire agenda from the beginning was just misinformed. We are the ones who are misinformed, and it has been on purpose all along.
