woe elf, "a genetically malformed entity". I guess it's easier to call it "a genetically malformed entity" than call it a fetus. So all you need is a play on words so you can sleep better at night. I used to have a problem turning down shifts when I was called in, saying no was a little too hard and then the boss would guilt me out. I figured out by saying "sorry i'm not available" was a good way to say no without having to say no and subsequently feel guilty about it. Good for you. I like how you further justified it by adding the cost. No fetus is worth 300,000 dollars, that's for sure. But if i'm not in a position to codemn another to death or to life, how does a woman have that right. Regardless of what you think, it's still alive. Just because it's not a sentient, thinking being (which I may add how the hell do you know that), doesn't mean it has a less reason to live. Even a slug or dandelion has a right to live. Who are we to decide what gets squished, plucked or aborted.

The US is unwilling to support poor women and unwanted babies. I bet if people offered to help, there would be less abortions. Yet, I constantly hear people say they don't want to pay more taxes or help "irresponsible" people-those that need help. I'd like to know what "plan" there is to help those women and children-actually the poor & even middle class already here! They're apparently no longer hungry according to the US govt, they have "food insecurities".

I'm a proud survivor of having had both an abortion & a live birth. Everything happens for a reason & I am so glad that I had the choice to choose a SAFE abortion & to later have a healthy pregnancy & child. That first child would never have had a chance at a happy life. We don't all live in the same book of fairy tales, but that doesn't mean there are no happy endings. Acceptance is one of Gods most important messages. Death is not cruel. Death is a gift that is as important as life. Life requires death & the God of all creation would not have death if it were not included in life. Please enjoy life on life's terms & then you can embrace death for what it is intended for.

Partial birth abortion is murdering a viable baby. How is it that these Liberals can charge the murderer of a pregnant woman with double homicide, but they refuse to admit that that same child is a life? Life begins at conception. I can understand the misunderstanding about life in early term abortions, but partial birth is monstrous.

ABortions are legal and a choice. YOU dont like it, so dont do it.
Just because you dont like it, doesnt give you the right to take that right away from those that need it, or want it

Would you want a mother have a baby that was the product of incest, or rape? Do you think that this doesn't hurt the mother? to knowingly carry a child that she doesn't want?

I love how you prolifers come on and disparriage what is a right for women to consider, but ARE unwiling to go out to the nearest adoption / foster care center and sign up to be one.

You advocate no abortion.'
then before you start stating that, you should be adoption at least the 5 children per household needed to alieve the burden on the child care system

Are you willing to adopt or care for 5 children, who could have a number of medical problems from fetal alcohol syndrom, drug addiction, autism, mental defects and other factors.

Before you cry "foul" you best be at the front of the line at the nearest child care facility to adopt those 5 children.

You guys are like those who say "WE NEED MORE PRISONS!" then come around and say "NOT IN MY BACKYARD!"

There is no excuse to take another life because of people's mistakes.

Just because a fetus cannot speak for and defend itself does not mean it is not alive.

Just think, even Islamic fundamentalists believe abortion is wrong, and some of them were OK with flying planes into 2 towers full of innocent Americans.

What's wrong with that picture?

A baby is always alive, even when isn't a baby yet the cells carried by both parents are alive, so cells are alive even before the moment of the conception. I don't understand who ther's people out there who dare to say that a fetus isn't human.

Then let us see if the fetus can survive outside the mother's womb prior to full gestation.

Not wanting to be flippant on this, but there is a difference between being alive and being viable.

If abortion does not work for you, then it doesn't work for you fine. For others, at least give them a choice.
