Not all girls are exactly regular...maybe you are having a hormone fluctuation. I have never once in my life had a "regular" cycle. My only recommendation is for you to keep a little record of when your periods start and end. In order to figure out your cycle.....you start at the first day of your last period and count until the first day of your next. This number will tell you your cycle length. You can do this for an average of 4 to 6 months to get a better idea of what your regularity is. Mine is 32 days on average..one of my friends is 22 days.
If you don't start your period fairly soon it may be a good idea to see your doctor. If you are having any kind of pain or discomfort...you should definitely see a doc.
Good Luck

Irregular periods are usually due to stress, hormone imbalances, or weight gain. You should try to reduce your stress level either by exercising, meditation, etc. and then see if you get your period in a few weeks. I would not wait more than 3 months of missed periods before seeing a gynecologist, in which the doctor would most likely prescribe progestrone to start the period or put you on birth control pills to regulate the periods every month.

It happened to me...your period is late. When you only had your period for less than 5 years, then your period changes routes and different days. It's normal, and if it's more than a month...talk to your mom or doctor, this could be important.

It'snormal for there to be fluctuations in your cycle. You may even miss a month completely. If it goes on for a long period of time, see a Dr. so he/she can check you.

Irregular periods for younger women are very common. Also, they can be caused by stress or excessive exercising/not enough fat in your diet.
If you're very concerned, then talk to an adult or your doctor.
