My husband is in the National Guards and a while back I had this nightmare that his unit had been deployed to Iraq and he was killed while over there. Very next day he finds out his unit was scheduled to be deployed. They left home a few days ago and are doing some training in states for a month or so before heading over. Is it more likely that the rest of my dream would come true? If so is there any way to stop it from happening?

No, don't worry. There is nothing you can do.

If you are anything like me, the whole dream will not come true. I have clairvoyent dreams at times but my imagination gets in the way. I suspect that the only part of your dream that will come true already has. The part about your husband getting killed is more likely to be your own fear. And there is a good possiblity (especially if you have never had a clairvoyent dream before) that the entire dream was a product of your fear and not psychic at all. I imagine all wives with husbands in the reserves or national guard have the same dream at some time and it's just a matter of time before the unit is activated. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

In my case im going to say more nightmares come true. My dreams are pure fantasy and extremly uneralistic. Most of them seem to be an obvious mix between fantasy and real life. I can usually tell that im dreaming. However my nightmares seem so much more realistic while im having them... just my luck. Last year i had this reacurring dream about my high school homecimng. The dreams started off with me going with my boyfriend and having a great time. As time went by and homecoming came closer andcloser the dreams slowly turned to nightmares. Next i had dreams of being stood up at the homecoming dance. And lastly the night beofre the dance i had a dream about my boyfriend taking my best friend. At homecoming i walked in to find my boyfriend with my best friend. My nightmares always come true.

I would not let him go if he did die u would always feel guilty like you knew it was coming but did not stop him, there is no way to stop him if he is focused on going but tell him about how you would feel if he died and you knew about it. You can never know if your dream will come true if this is his Dream to be fighting for iraq or another country let him o u can not hold him back because of what might happen
It is his choice in the end=)

You must have known there was a posability that your husband could be sent to Iraq being that he was already in the national guard. Your dream was just your mind working through your anxiety about it. Your dream is the worst possible scenario you could think of and its only natural to think that but i believe that your husband will be fine.

i understand you, I dreamed my dog died and he did a few weeks later, then i dreamed i had an F in my english class and I just learned that I did.

while dreams can serve as future indicators, there is not proof that ur husband will die, just hope and pray for the best

Most likely it won't come true. If all of my nightmares came true I would be in a lot of trouble.

Hopefully, it won't come true.

Don't stress over it!!

No. Dreams are not predictive. I would say that your dream reflects your fears about your husband. There is no way that this will happen BECAUSE you dreamed it.

I don't believe he will die. In order for you to stop it, pray for him, as I do daily for all the troops over in Iraq. God bless you.
