It's an example of the government endorsing theism. And in the beginning it wasn't there in the first place. Can't say I would ever miss it. I don't pay all that much attention to all the extra things they through onto money any ways.

I don't think they took "In God We Trust" off the $1 coin; I think they just made the font smaller and put it in a less conspicuous spot. Check again. If I'm wrong, let me know

If our government wants to take it off or leave it on its up to them. I really don't care either way. I never really noticed it in the first place and plus its just money.
