I want one of the two, but im not sure if i should go with the higher end copy, or the lower end gibson....which is better?

The electronics on both of them are poor compared to their more expensive counterparts, but I would lean toward the Les Paul because there are more controls and you can define your tone better.

Get the Gibson SG. Epiphone's aren't that great. They're ok, but regular Gibsons are much better. SGs are pretty good guitars.

Get the SG. I like SGs because they are much lighter in weight than Les Pauls.

Always go with the better name :" GIBSON ".
All my friends with Epiphones have the same problem................
THEY WON'T STAY IN F - - - - - TUNE !!!!!
