Does any one know the name of Harry Potters owl from the books?We are having a huge debate on it and no one knows whose right. Please help. Thank you

trust me there are very few people who have read harry potter as many times as i have. harry named his owl after someone in his history book in book one. Hermione's cat is crookshanks and Ron's rat is scabbers and his owl is pigwidgen. Ginny was the one who named Ron's owl and is called pig for short. the Wesley's owl is named Errol Percy's owl is named Hermes Nevil's toad is named Trevor. Dombledors Phoenix is named fox voldomorts snake is named niaginini. hagrids dog is fluffy his big headed dog is fluffy (the one the three tried to get past in book one his dragon is Norbert. his spider arogon and his hipogorif is buckbeak or otherwise known as witherwings. the malfoys house elf is dobby and Sirius's house elf is named kreacher. good luck and i hope your rite

Harry's Owl is Hedwig in the book it says she was named after someone in one of his textbooks but in real life JKR named her after the patron saint of Orphaned Children!
Also
Hermionie's cat is Crookshanks
Ron's rat (up to book 3) is Scabbers and (after book 3) his owl is Pigwidion aka Pig.
