I hadd my kitchen on the east side, you can watch the sun come up while you have your morning coffee. I had sliders out to the patio and had baskets of fuschias hanging where I could watch the hummingbirds come to them, really peaceful!

I would put the kitchen on the east side for all reasons stated and because flowers, plants and herbs love it. During the winter it will also warm the kitchen earlier.

I would put my kitchen on the east side and my bedroom on the west side. This way you get morning sunshine with your coffee/breakfast and evening sunsets facing your bedroom.

east. kitchens go on the east side with east facing windows. if you put it in the southeast corner of the house that would be ideal
