[Natural] blonds, on average, are no dumber per se than any other segment of the general public at large. The saying to which you are referring really speaks of “the materialistic blondes” (and in particular the female blonds) as being superficial - and acting in accordance - by choice/design (and not necessarily by nature). In an inherently superficial and biased world, where image is everything and certain genetic traits are overwhelmingly favored over others, looks maybe the easiest meal ticket to financial freedom and a comfortable life of carefree existence. Call it the imposed evolutionary game of “artificial” natural selection based on cultural and racial preferences. It’s all about the politics of experience and how you play it. In fact, I think the blonds, to their credit, are playing the game super intelligently. If the blonds can act “dumb, snobbish, and disconnected” and still get away with it, then what does that really say about our society as a whole? We cannot have it both ways. The society cannot transform the female blond into a dumb object of sexual desire and an attractive instrument of procreation, and at the same time expect her to be the Einstein next door.

One of the smartest and most compassionate women I know is a blond - MissChatea. I also have a blond cousin that is a grade school teacher, so I would said the answer is a resounding no, I don't believe that blonds are dumb.

I don't guess it really has to do w/ hair (although i like the jokes a lot!!!)cause my sister's natural color is brown, she died it blond and she was stupid sometimes but even when it was brown she was(she died it back......still the same at times). some really smart people are blond!

No, I dont. Wow, you have some stupid people (blondes, brunettes, guys, whatever) responding, as well as some people who are smart from the same groups.
The gene that makes your hair color has no impact on your intelligence, reasoning skills or common sense.
Oh, and FALL LOVE, the proper, "smart brunette" way to say what you did is "all the blondes I KNOW" not "all the blondes i no"

No, nor do I believe the saying, "Blonds have more fun." I don't even accept the label "blond." All labels are limiting and this one may have dark roots somewhere.

Im a brunnette and I think that most blondes ironically are dumb. Compared to the brown haired...But on Beauty and the Geek a girl with brown hair was kicked off first.(Because she wasn't as smart as a her apponent which was a blonde).

I have two blond cousins; one natural and one bleached. The natural blond is a bit ditsy, but she's pretty smart. The one with bleached blond hair is so ridiculously stupid it just makes me want to cry. It just goes to show you that people with brown hair can be stupid, too.
