Does anybody know if there will be any follow up Buffy shows from the finale, or is the show put to rest? Wouldn't it be awesome if there was another season!!

Let me just say that I LOVED BUFFY! I was so sad when it was finished. I haven't heard that they were going to do anything else with the show. I believe that it was the end when they finished the show. I don't think they're going to make anymore.

Sadly, the show was put to rest... We do see/hear about some of what our beloved scoobies went on to after the series ended in Angel... I think it would be great if they did another season!

Unfortunately, I never watched the show when it was actually on, but my brother got me into it later because his friend has the box set... I was sitting in my living room & he came in there asking if he could watch Buffy & I was just thinking "yeah sure whatever" But then he put in the 1st disc of the 1st season, & from watching the 1st few episodes I was completely hooked... I think I managed to watch the entire series within about a 1-2 week period... I was so sad when I got to the last episode...

That show is definitely one of the only shows I've ever seen that actually made me cry on more than one occasion... Especially "The Body".. For me, that was the most emotional episode of the entire series....Just trying to imagine what they all had to be feeling... Especially Buffy who was the one who found her... I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my mom...

Anyway, I could go on forever about this series & how amazing it was, but I think I should prolly just stop right now because if I don't I'll be rambling forever about all the things I loved about it...

Done and over with. I haven't heard of Whedon having any interest in returning to Buffy. Without Whedon, I have little to no interest in any continuing series, and I suspect most other fans, and more to the point, the actors, probably feel the same way.

Whedon's a quite busy man, with at least two movie projects and various comic book projects to eat up his time. There has been speculation on another Serenity movie, but it sounds like that may be a dead issue as well (sigh).

Joss Whedon has stated that there will be no more TV or movie Buffy.

BUT, he has stated (not too long ago actually) that he is currently writing a season 8 of Buffy and it WILL be put into comic book form.

Over. They thought about a movie, but nothing ever went forward.

Remember the Kevin Sorbo Hercules series? and Xena? Loved Xena.

All of those just ran the story out.

It would be awesome but i read somewhere that james marsters had set a limit on how long he would actually be willingto do it. (because he isnt suppossed to age) but Sarah Michelle Gelalr is the only one who wont sign on... Which i think is stupid of her cuz its what made her famous... its almost like she is selling out...
