How do i invite people i don't know who are on myspace to be my friends? Or am i missing something really obvious?

Also, send them a message introducing yourself after you click the add to friends button. It's polite.
Unless... they are a famous person or a band page. They'll just add you.

When you go to somebody's MySpace page, there should be an option (usually under their main picture) for "Add as a friend". It should be right next to the option to "Send a message". Once you "add" them, they have to accept you in order for them to become your friend.

you go to their profile page and click on "add me". Then you have to wait until they accept you. Of course they could also deny you. You just wait and eventually their picture shows up in your friends list.

do a browse (browse serch) on friends you can search on things like age, location, gender things like that strike up a random conversation with them.. or you can join a group on some thing that interest you and get to know them in there then add to friends.. that way you know you will have some thing in common..

just go to their page, and right under their picture is a contact box. in that box is a link to send a friend request and send a message and other stuff.

you're missing something VERY obvious.
there's a "add to friends" link on every person's profile.
