Jessica means One With Wealth, from a Hebrew origin.
I think it is an utterly beautiful name.
It sounds like a soothing brook rolling over smooth stones into a quiet pond.
It is quite beautiful as I am sure your daughter is.
A name is only as common as the person.
I am pretty sure God made your daughter unique, so her name is wonderful and delightful!

Jessica you have a really nice name even though it is common. But i must say my parents were definatly unoriginal. Here is the list of me and my siblings. Peter, Pat, Terri, Joe and Paul. If your laughing right now don't worry so am I. When I think of the name Jessica I think of a pretty and sweet girl. So there you go.

I like it, but it is too common. I grew up in a small farm town, and when I graduated high school, 6 of the girls in my senior class of 50 were named Jessica.
