Okay..your idol should definitely become your English teacher as that would be of the most benefit to you. It is "mine" and "idol".
As for my celebrity idol, idol is much too strong of a word. But I do like Johnny Depp. Not because I think he is "hot" but rather because I know he's an amazing actor. Case in point?
Everyone knows Pirates of the Caribbean, specifically the first one. Most people appreciate the movie because of the so-called "hot" cast or truly mind-blowing graphics. However, I really like this movie because of Johnny Depp. Every raised eyebrow and every smile adds so much meaning to the movie that it's unbelievable. Just thinking to the scene where he says "But you have heard of me." The raised hands, the raised eyebrows on have, and the pause before saying the words - it's just so beautifully done.
And no, I haven't seen this movie more than the average person. I'm just more observant than most.
