I would have to say Tony Hawk. He put skateboarding on the map, and everyone nowadays consider him to be their hero.

Wouldn't be suprised if Ryan Sheckler wound up the best skater ever... But right now I'd say Tony Hawk.

Definately Rodney Mullen, he's a legend! Some of that flatland he does is absolutley fantastic.
