why do you feel you are retaining more fluid than you should be?
Have you got swollen ankles or puffy legs for example?
There is nothing you can buy that is effective in removing fluid from the body ie acting as a diuretic.
Your doctor may prescribe you bendroflumethazide 2.5mg one each morning which is an effective but not too drastic a diuretic.
You can also help yourself by eating healtherly cutting down on tea and coffee and avoiding alcohol.Try including melon in your diet and fill up on non starchy vegetables.Avoid processed foods that tend to contain excess salt.I hope this helps you to feel more comfortable

i am an alternative medicinal therapist and i always recommend diuretic pills from the health shop because they are natural. Most people to not understand that some diuretics also flush out our mineral reserves like potassium and magnesium this is bad but the natural ones are not as harsh. Holland and Barrett do a wide choice.but always read the instructions for the contraindications.
