What is the best "local" food place not a chain.
My favorite is Bakers in san bernardino ca.I grew up there I was a kid fridays tacos were 10 for a $1.00

wow. those tacos are crazy ^_^

they do though serve REALLY big and greasy burgers at mims though ^_^

I'm from Flint MI so Angelo's coney Island is the best or there's this bar Roma's that has great pizza

The Highway 29 Cafe on the edge of Napa. Best breakfasts ever.

(Other than that, my old restaurant. Heh.)

downtown detroit we have 2 coney island places right next to each other ,[ LAFAYETTE coney island and the AMERICAN coney island ] they are open 24/7 ....
