Mark McGwire in the "Hall"? No, he won't get there and thats a shame. People have cheated in sports since the begining of time. Yet, there is no proof at all that he ever took steroids. Did he get bigger? Oh yeah. Has Clemens gotten bigger? Yes. Homeruns are all he hit but he, along with Sosa revitalized the national pasttime unlike any players in the last 30 years. His drug use is nothing more than speculation and a witch hunt by a bunch of guys who don't want to see there heroes fall from atop some HALLOWED list of numbers. Why is it that a man who hit more homeruns in a season than other teams did in a year is a hero and legend? Wonder what Ruth was on???

Yes, eventually but no one will bring up the steriod issue and question if he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. The 2nd ballot for sure.

i might say that that's extremely available, however the probability is extremely below 50%. McGwire had incredibly some HRs in the time of his finished occupation and helped the league to get well the followers it lost in the process the 1994 strike. besides the undeniable fact that, with the completed steroids subject turning out to be further and further substantial, it will probable save him out of the hall. bear in mind, Pete Rose, arguably the terrific touch hitter in history did no longer make it in because of the fact of his movements off the sector. i might additionally desire to make the element that McGwire's avg. became into basically .263.

No... If you dont let Pete Rose in for betting on baseball which most players do....then you don't let anyone who uses steroids...(i mean anyone who has been proven to use steroids)
