I have two suggestions
1> hold a ice cube on the gum until its frozen then it should pop right off!!
2> use Dawn Dish soap, it breaks the gum up, and it should just wash off!
hope this helps- these also work if you have gum in your hair!!

Ice is the best thing that you can use, it doesn't leave a stain and it makes the gum hard enough to come off real easy.

I just sat in gum today so I know how to help you.... you put ice ont he gum, it freezes and as you are rubbing the gum with the ice, pull the gum off.

Good luck

the old freezer trick.. put the sweater in a freezer, the gum freezes and becomes brittle, then you can pick it out easier.... just be careful not to damage the fibres too much!

did you try the peanutbutter and ice trick.
apply that and then wash your sweater the way you normally would and that should get out the stain.
