My little sister is 14 years younger than me and I don't see her very often...so I'm clueless what her interests might be (besides cell phones, makeup, and other things I REFUSE to get for her). Any ideas?

I guess I should mention she's pretty "mature," or rather, spoiled. lol. She already gets pedicures, manicures, and her eyebrows waxed, things such as that. I don't really approve, so I'd like to get her something more her age but to make sure she'd actually like it.

My 11 year old sister loves the new Polly Pockets. She also really likes the American Girl books. They are interesting and educational. The Real Beauty line at Bath and Body Works (as someone mentioned above) is nice, too. That age is critical in developing her self-esteem and self-concept, so if you feel she's on the wrong path, spending time with her like taking her to the movies, bowling, skating, ect. would be a good idea.

Hi. Bath and Body works has a great line from American Girl that is focused towards pre-teens. It includes such things as shampoo, conditioner, cream, body wash, etc., but it also has this great book that introduces girls to the changes that will be coming over the next couple years and why it is important to keep clean. Tals about shaving, nail care, hair care, etc. Its a great book. Add some of the products and you will have a great gift.

You can get her a bike(if she doesn't have one), or you could give her like Cd's the songs she likes, or if she likes to play with dolls get her favorite one, or you can get her clothes and accessories. Or if she likes games maybe buy her a thing she might want to play. Or just give her money if you can't think of anything(lol).

Money is a good gift for anyone because they can do anything with it. By the description you have of this girl, you may want to buy some weird girly girl thing. Mabye like a purse. Whoever is the caretaker of her, ask them and ask that person what she may want. Good luck.

The site Hearthsong has lots of gifts that aren't the run of the mill type gifts:
http://www.hearthsong.com/hearthsong/welcome.asp?sc=1005&body_sc=1005&occ=1005&cm_mmc=Tagged-_-NA-_-NA-_-NA
They have sewing machines for little girls, that would be a great gift.
