There are possible reasons
You might be jealous of him for some reason
You secretly want his approval for some reason
You may have feelings toward him, that are confusing him.
He won't go away, until you confront the issue, easier said then done, I know. But you can do it preoccupy you time with other things, so that you don't think of him.
Read interesting Books,
Study
Join More clubs, if you aren't already in too many
Play video games
Get an after school job if you don't already have one
Go to the Gym, and work out you frustration.

You gotta keep yourself busy with other things. Don't give yourself any down time to keep thinking about somebody. If you're occupied with something, you'll feel better about yourself like you are improving your life and contributing to the world around you. Get a hobby. And maybe you DO like him, but you're just denying it, or else why would you be thinking about him all the time? Hmmmm. Good luck.

Make a list of all of his negative qualities and read it over and over when you are thinking of him...so that you can see that he is not the one you want...
Or maybe he is actually the one for you, and you have not realized it completely yet
