I have some water marks on a pair of light tan leather shoes after taking a walk in the rain. The light tan now has dark tan patches.Any good ideas beside get a new pair?

think i saw on Martha Stewart where she used vinegar, hope it works for you.

My granny always said that salt marks could be removed by wiping them with a slice of potato - it does work on suede, but I haven't tried it on leather.

Soak the whole shoe, it will dry the same colour all over.
