I think it's kind of unethical, but if you know that no one else will find out, then have at it.

if you feel you are the best candidate for the award or position. by all means of course it is. you want the best person and so be it if you happen to be better than the other person, may the best man or woman win even if it means voting for yourself. gl

Yes if you are that confident in your capabilities then i would say go for it.If you don't stand up for you then who will.But don't get cocky after your voted in.Just as good as you can get in.You can get quickly put out.Good Luck
