Learning math is probably the most important thing you can do. It not only teaches how to handle numbers but actually creates the pathways in your brain that make it so you are able to solve problems.
Not just math problems but everyday problems like what mortgage company should I go with to buy a house, or what kind of coursage should I get my prom date. These are not math problems but they require solving. math teaches the HOW of problem solving.
