You will need to make some changes in the gas valve. Take it off and take it in to a furnace man, or your local propane company.

Yes just change the orfice in the burner and pilot if there is one. You may have a heater with an electric start. Most Propane Companys offer the service to convert your heater for a small fee. You can check with them

Most burners will burn either natural gas or propane. The problem is propane requires more air (O2) than natural gas. With different burners you either increase air available to the burner or in other cases decrease the amount of propane.
Usually your local propane supplier can either help with the conversion or direct you to someone who can.

Oil field kinda has it. You will have to change the orifice. Go to a hardware store or propane supplier and tell them what you want to do.

if your heater uses them, all you need to do is change the "jets"
or orifices!! they are little brass screw on things that the gas flows thru,, any place that sells propane should know how to help you out

No, they are not interchangeable.
The components of the burners are different and would require a complete refitting.
It would just be easier to go out and buy a new grill.
