This is called "spotting". My first period was spotting. It's basically your menstrual blood mixed with vaginal discharge. It is a real period, so put on a pad as soon as possible because the spotting will stain your underwear.
I hope I helped!

when i first got my period i was wondering if it was or what cuz i knew blood would be coming but i didn't expect brown stuff but just to let you know it is blood, and you have started your period grab a pad and a clean pair of underwear, put the pan in the underwear(duh i think you knew that one was coming) but i'm not sure if it will start looking like actual blood this time or it may happen on your second period, but either way this is normal... oh and just to let you know if you don't have your period for a month or maybe a year that's normal too so don't sweat it, it takes your body about two years to become a normal cycle.

Yes,it is your period. You should tell someone close to you.Go to the nearest store ASAP.Grab some pads...changing your underwear will no where near help. You may want to consider getting Midol. You will experience way more then just blood.Sorry to scare you(if I am). There will be mood swings, back ache, major cramps and decrease/increase of appetite.Periods usually last 3-7 days.It is a monthly cycle. We've all been there.Hope this helps...I don't know how old you are,so if you over 12 then it is ok to take Midol//

Well when I got my period it looked kind of like what u described but it was all over the place. You should tell your mom about it, there is nothing to worry about. You need to use pads to put on your underwear to keep them protected, and she can teach you how to use them properly if you don't know how. My mom had to, and you'll get used to it after a while, And if its not your period, I suggest you go to the doctors to get it looked at. Take care.

Congrats! sounds like you just became a woman. i would call your mom, and ask her to bring you a change of underwear, and maybe tylenol. i would also were pads...not tampons. your to young, those should wait. if any questions talk to mom or someone you can trust. Good luck!
p.s don't get freakd by all the stories you hear, each woman is different., and you will be too, untill your body adjust

Probably is, fold some paper towels and put them in a clean pair of undies until someone(parent) can get you some pads or tampons. If you live with your mom, look under her cabinet to see if she has anything you can use until you can get some of your own. Hope this helps!

talk to your mom or an adult female you trust and go to the store and pick out some pads/tampons. do NOT just keep changing your underwear... they will be permanently stained. =/
