My carpet is light beige so it really shows. So many products say they take out anything, but the stain is still there. Is there anything you know works?

Try the "Woolite Pod"
We had our carpets professionally cleaned, and yet this one stain kept showing.. I saw a commercial for this product, bought it, tried it, and couldn't be happier with it.
It's small, fits in your hand - blue and white in color, found at WalMart and most other stores.

This type of stain is one of the hardest to get out the carpet.
I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pour hot almost boiling water (from a kettle) on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time, (this will open up the dye ports on the carpet fibre releasing the stain. and remove the residue from the carpet).
If the stain is still visible than try putting Dawn dishwashing liquid (4 or 5 drops into one cup of water) or carpet spotter. Dampen the spot letting it soak on the stain for about 5 minutes and repeat step one. After this you should rinse the area again with the wet vac and hot water. If this doesn’t work try using orange glo or even 409. The most important thing to do is rinse the stain with a wet vac and hot water from a kettle to remove all the reside, or the spot may come back.

Please be careful with what product you uses (neutral PH carpet cleaning solution is best). Please DO NOT put anything on the carpet that was not made for carpet.

The very best thing to remove the red punch stain from your carpet is a product called Spot Shot. It is available most every where and comes in a blue can with an orange top. There is really nothing that Spot Shot can't tackle - it is best on wet stains but with some elbow grease and patience it will work on dried stains, too. If your stain is still wet right now saturateit with some warm water (cold will set the stain) and put a damp towel over it while you run to the store to get the Spot Shot. It cost roughly 4 dollars a can and is worth every penny. I buy three cans at a time because it proves indespensible.

Hope this Helps!

You will need ammonia, a clean white towel and an iron. Mix the ammonia 50/50 with water. spray it lightly on the stain. Cover the stain with the towel, and press with the iron. Be sure the iron is set on a low setting so that it does not melt the carpet. Keep moving the towel to a clean area and repeating until the stain is gone. I do recommend that you try a test area first, because sometimes it will lighten the carpet color. I work in apartment communities and learned this technique from a professional carpet cleaner. I have light tan carpeting at the community I work at now, and it works great on it.

Good Luck.

%)If it is fresh, then take some club soda and salt and rub with a damp cloth.

1)there is a product called goo gone. they come in a plastic can and have wipes that have the cleaner on it. These work very well, just rub in circurla motion, let dry then vaccum out

2) if this does not work, then i would recommend a steam clean. Most grocery stores have one that you can rent usually on a hourly basis

3) Ift his does not work, then i hear that using an iron can get the color out, but it will leave some disfiguration.

4) replace the carpet.

Note, on number 3) do a google serach on this cause it invoovles extreme heat and all precautions should be exercises. But get the goo gone, chances are it should work.

With any water soluble stain, you first sponge it with cold water, then blot with a dry white cloth (that hasn't been dried with fabric softener) or use a white paper towel. Repeat until either the stain is gone or you see no more color on the white cloth. If the stain remains, try club soda. Two excellent carpet stain removing products I keep on hand is Woolite enzyme spray (can't remember exact name) and Spot Shot spray. But always, try the water sponge and blot before any type of product is used.

I used OXY clean to get red wine out of my beige carpet, that might work.

1. Mix one teaspoon of a neutral detergent (a mild detergent containing no alkalies or bleaches) with a cup of luke-warm water. Blot.
2. Mix one-third cup of white household vinegar with two-thirds cup of water. Blot.
3. Repeat step one.
4. Sponge with clear water. Blot.

Or try Oxyclean. That works the best of store bought items.
