(Yo--a word that really isn't necessary) me levanto por la manana porque tengo que despertar a mi hermano para la escuela. Mi madre me dice, "haz la cama."

(Yo) me lavo la cara con jabon y agua antes de maquillarme. (Yo) me ducho y uso champu y jabon. (Yo) me visto.

(Yo) pongo la mesa, y como el desayuno con mi hermano. (I have no idea what you're trying to say in the next sentence.)

(Yo) me cepillo los dientes con pasta de dientes. (Yo) voy a la escuela rapidamente.

(Note that there are MANY accent marks that should also be in this passage.)

You pretty much never need to say "Yo" in Spanish. The verb form implies it. With reflexive verbs, which are probably the point of the chapter you are studying, you use an object BEFORE a conjugated verb form.

No it doesn't make "sense". You should change your language class, Spanish isn't sinking in.
