I am remarried, 37 years old, and desperately want to have a baby with my new husband. I had my tubes tied approx 6 years ago and want to reverse it. I have no medical insurance. Is there a doctor someone could recomend in the new haven CT. area? I need to know a general price to see if we can afford it. Praying their is an answer for us. Thank you to those who can help.

You should not have surgery without insurance...wait until you get it.

What if there is a complication and you require more care? I was in the ER for 5 hours and the cost would have been $1,500 if I wasn't insured.

How will you pay for prenatal care and delivery.....if you are pregnant before you are insured it could be considered a preexisting condition and not be covered.

WAIT until you are insured......in answer to your prayer....My cousing had her tubes tide when she was younger after the birth of her son. She had cancer and at that time was told due to the treatments she should never have another baby. 10 years later the doctors said there was no reason not to try and she had two more boys after having it reversed.

Not judging you here...but if you don't have insurance how do you plan on paying for all of the doctor visits and birth?

a reversal in michigan is roughly $4500. and the success rate is very high!

think of it this way... it's less than you will pay for the general care of your child in the first year of his/her life!
