Please only answer if you know..... ie you were a temp and now perm after being hired by the company, or you are a manager her HR rep who uses Temp agencies. THANKS!
I am in a temp to hire position my hire date is in a few weeks, I am pretty sure the company will ask me to stay so thats not a problem. My question is, I was hired at one pay, upon them asking me stay and be hired on by them what are my rights as far asking for a raise, since they pay me one price and the temp agency another for using me. Any ideas?

the Temp agency pays me, but my pay was decided by the company that I will be working full time for. They gave the temp agency a job description with the $ amount they were willing to match... so they know how much I make. Can I still negotiate? They will no longer have to pay the fee to the temp agency so shouldnt my slary go up when hired?

i got a 15% increase once hired on full time. You can discuss salary with them. Your current company doesnt now what u get paid. find out what people in your position get paid and work from there. Salary has to be discussed when going permanent.

The company now has to pay for a lot of benefits that they didn't pay before. You can always ask for a raise, and they can always say no.
If you're not willing to work for what they offer, don't take the job. If you are willing, they don't have any reason to give you more money.
If you want to bluff, play poker.
