There are a lot of pretty blond girls but there are just as many pretty brunettes. But I have noticed at school and at the gym that a blond girl will get a lot of attention from guys even if they are not that pretty or even sometimes ugly. I have also noticed that a brunette girl will go blond and all of a sudden guys will flock to her even though she is the same girl as before. I am not blond bashing here I am just curious. Do guys even look at these girls faces? I am brunette and I refuse to go blond for male attention I have a very pretty face but other girls that are blond do not look nearly as good as I and they get so much more attention. Why?

Welcome to my life, seriously. I know exactly how you feel! I'm also a brunette and I don't see myself as ugly at all. Although, so many blondes (who not one person I know of thinks they are pretty) get all the guys. Now, you have to understand that when I say this, I am not trying to put down blondes in any way. It's just that guys get the idea in their head that if a girl is a blonde she's really easy (even if their not!) Remember, thats not me talking, thats a guy.
You know as well as I that if a guy thinks a girl is easy, he'll pounce- literally. But, eventually they'll see that all blondes are not easy (and there are easy brunettes.) And they'll realize that they want to be with the prettier girl, not the blonder girl.
It sucks doesn't it?

Hey....I'm brunette too *and proud*. A big influence of the "blonde bombshell" was Marilyn Monroe and her film "Gentlemen prefer blondes." If you haven't seen it, I'm sure you can guess from it's title what the message is LOL :P
I think it really depends. On the whole I have more friends who prefer brunette's to blonde's. Also remember, boys and girls have very different views of what's pretty and what's not. Just think of it this way, we're not thought of as stupid.

hey.. u know grass is always greener on the other side.u feel blondes attract guys a lot & blondes feel the same about brunettes.dont u think that a person who likes u should be doing that on the basis of ur personality and not by the mere color of ur hair??.....u will definitely find someone who is smart enough to admires ur personlity & talent!! .....not some dumb head who goes around girls for the color of their hair!!!.....be it a blonde or a brunette u definitely look beautiful when u have the confidence and right attitude in you. i hate that guys think blondes are better than brunettes, i am a brunette and the ugliest blondes get more attention than me and i am a pretty brunette. i am not bragging but they should pay attention to the brunettes a lot more than the stupid blondes.

Because guys think blonde's are more easy and outgoing(not to rude.)But I don't know why they think that because these days blonds and brunettes are getting attention.It depends if the girl is pretty , the boy will like her,I don't think it has anything to do with the color of their hair.

I am blonde and I am not very pretty. Most guys I know like brunette mexicans or just plain brunettes. They also really like attractive eyes.

I hate at the same time as adult men say they prefer both because it almost continually comes right down to face above each and every thing else. I once knew a guy who claimed that he became absolutely interested in brunettes yet at the same time as requested which of the females he knew that he concept were best, the first one he said turned right into a extraordinarily (yet very pretend-searching) blonde. move confirm.

I just think the golden hair gets more attention. Men love blondes and they do not usually bother to see what's inside of the blonde head.
When boys grow up they look for brunettes to marry. Word!
