Not sure enforcing is the right word to use. But I agree that the power of the celebrities on the younger generation is powerful. TV is a powerful medium. And having these girls walking on the catwalk with a skeleton of a Zombie is definitely sending the wrong message to our kids.

Good question. I feel sorry ( a little bit) for all those girls who look up to these celebs as their idols. It seems to me people these days have forgotten what "real" beauty is. It is so dumb how girls take so many risks to be size zero just to wear some fashionable clothes...morons.
If people wanted to truly be "beautiful", look in the mirror and find something good about yourself that defines you as a person and not what someone forces you to look like.
My message to the girls of the world:
Be confident in yourselves, admire yourself as a person and don't ever change yourself because someone tells you to look or act a certain way.

Its no longer the thin area that they are "worshipping". it incredibly is the action picture star area. Duh. and how will we be the "fattest" whilst everybody over a hundred kilos is bullied to tears day in and trip? Ever think of that according to threat if people like your self did no longer emotionally torment larger those that they does not ought to discover solace in nutrients and could desire to get in good shape? Encouraging people is a techniques extra effectual than humiliating and insulting chronically...

you're right.
some people just look better a bit thicker.
and then when they loose it..it doesnt seem like their natural selves.
like josh on drake and josh.
I think it's good to enforce being skinny because it's much healthier.. [not like anorexic skinny though.. just fit] but you need some bigger people in hollywood too because that's what gives the world pizazz!!

I agree with you- I think there are all kinds of body types, and not just one is appealing. It depends on the person and how they present themselves. It's important to ignore a lot of what is presented to us as the way to look, wear, or especially behave! I mean, most people don't look good fat and/or out of shape, but you don't have to go on a barfing rampage to look good, right?

Agreed. Skinny is NOT sexy. Unless they're naturally thin but I think naturally thin people look different and healthier than starved people.
for example:
Zhang Ziyi=healthy thin
Lindsay Lohan=go eat a sandwich!

To me it is dangerous because teenagers and young women want to imulate them. Unrealistic because we come in all shapes and sizes as it should be and it does not represent what real women look like. Unfair it says that unless you look like a walking skeleton you are undesirable which is untrue.
