I haven't worked other than odd and end jobs cleaning houses in over a year & a half since I had a high risk pregnancy with my daughter. All I wanted to do is stay home with her and not miss anything her 1st year. But now she will be 1yr old in 2 wks and I am feeling pressure from my husband to help pay the bills but he doesn't want me to put her in daycare but I don't have anyone to keep her and the truth is that I am lost.I have a diploma in medical claims but there are no openings in our area for this field.Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do for a job so that I don't have to be away from my daughter very much.Or ideas to solve the problem of someone to care for her while I work.

With your diploma in medical claims, check with the local hospitals or doctors offices about doing work from home. There may not being any openings now but I know from personal experience that medical billers often change jobs. There may opening even tomorrow. By letting them know you are interested they will think about you when something does open up.

Also check into doing transcription from home for the hospital or doctor's offices. They often need someone to work prn for transcription if they have been very busy or someone else is on vacation.

Also check into health insurance companies. Some of them do have job openings that can be done from home online.

Good luck and happy birthday to your little girl.

There are a lot of paramedic and ambulance services that can use good people in their billing departments. But, working at home usually comes after you've proven yourself on the job first.
Just don't give any money to all these cashrate morons whatever you do.

Open a daycare in you home. States usually limit the number of children to 6 per adult, but maybe you could take on a couple. On-line work-at-home businesses are not the way to go.

You could try to get a job at day care center so you can be with her and other kids. She could go for free and you could make some more money, but feel good she is under the same roof.
You could search on Yahoo Hot Jobs for telemarketing jobs at home.

Good luck.

School bus driver, many companies permit you to take the child on the route, in a baby seat. Good luck with everything

Oh, please don't do the "Internet jobs at home" line, folks.

How about working shifts different than your husband, so you can alternate care, and daughter doesn't go to day care. Or work weekends or other off periods?
