i'm talking about recently extinct.. like in the past 100 to 60 years. considering how far we've advanced and how much further we will continue to advance, is there any chance we can reverse some mistakes like the extinction of the tasmanian tiger or the dodo or many of the creatures that have gone extinct within the past hundred years (yes, i know, the dodo has probably been gone a lot longer than 100 years... but you catch my drift)

With the current technology we have, it may not be enough to bring back extinct animals, but within a few decades, it may be possible just using DNA.

Cloning is used to bring back extinct animals by inerting extinct DNA into the eggs of a similar species.

So long as we have the DNA, we can revive. If not, we get to reassemble 150+ megabases of DNA based on zlich.

i think of cloning animals to hold decrease back extinct ones is powerful because of the fact it particularly is human beings that made them extinct and that they could positioned it impressive even though it is not inevitably a solid concept to hold decrease back animals that are extinct because of the fact they might have died out because of the fact of evolution and if we attempt and positioned across them decrease back to existence then it particularly is going to stop evolution from happening because of the fact extinction performs an substantial functionality in extinction.

It is possible we can, the question is whether we should. An animal is not just a collection of skin and bone. How could we teach it the behaviours it would have learned from other animals? At best, it would be a shadow of the real animal.
