No. They are NOT responsible.
That's like saying Gallo Vineyards or Jack Daniel's Distillery is responsible for millions of drunk driving deaths.
The tobacco industry actually has the worst possible advertising.
There have been no ads on TV since the '70s. Radio ads left soon after. Then the billboards went. All that is left for them to advertise through is the printed media, and the signs in the store.

No, i don't think so. Tobacco has this addicting thing on it that E-Ciga doesn't have I know some people who use E-Ciga but still smoke Tobacco although the amount of Tobacco that they are smoking decreased. Still they said that real Tobacco is still different. Also even though E-Ciga is popular in some countries, there are still lots of countries who don't really like E-Cigarettes (especially in Asia). My father was a chain smoker but then he felt some chest tightening he was so frightened that he stopped smoking. He completely stopped smoking even without the use of E-Cigarette. He hasn't been smoking for more than 10 years now.

No, tobacco companies are not responsible for the death of smokers, the smokers are responsible for their own deaths.
The tobacco companies have committed no crimes, regardless of the hysterical claims against them by unethical and amoral groups who believe their ends justify any means.
You see, smoking has long been known to be bad for you, known for over 100 years. President Grant knew that his cigar smoking was what killed him. Cigarettes were known as Coffin / Coughin' Nails in WW1.
It's time people took responsibility for their own actions and stopped trying to blame others.

They are guilty of lying to the public about the hazzards of smoking. Till the surgeon generals warning was put on a few years ago, they refused to acknowledge that smoking was hazzardous to health.

They are technically guilty of nothing Smoking is legal if you are of age. Even though they target children with the products they still give warnings not to sell to children... THATS AMERICA FOR YOU!
Smoking is a choice.
