my mother recently took out some suitcases and they had mold on them is the rest of furnitute safe to use
will they be alright after we get all the dust off of them

If they got wet there's a good chance they have some mold. Put a new bag in your vacuum (to get maximum suction) and vacuum the furniture as well as you can. Then you can spray them with Lysol. If you missed any spores the Lysol should get them. Also mold needs water to live so once in the house it should be harder for it to survive.

However, once you get it inside if you notice anyone having allergic reactions you may have no choice but to get rid of them. Many people are allergic to mold spores.
