A couple years ago, Jessica Simpson started using this annoying breathy betty boop voice.
so at this point, i would rather listen to britney. or get shot in the head with a nail gun.
but when jessica's first album came out- she used a different type of singing voice. remember?
it was clear and pretty and strong.
I got goosebumps when she sang "his eye is on the sparrow."
i dont know why she started using ridiculous fake voice.
does she think its sexy?
i guess people like it, i am not one of them.

I'd have to say Jessica. But Britney Spears had a great voice when she was little. It seems she developed her own style which is not necessarily real singing. It's like Michael Jackson. He was a great singer when he was little, but now he just grunts and screams.

are you serious? Jessica Simpson that isn't even her competition, you should've asked who's better between Jessica and Christina A. now those two women have very strong voices and can blow some vocals. Britney is used for entertainment and looking purposes...

Neither one has any real talent, but "artistically speaking", Jessica is better ... at least she doesn't use artifical electonics to correct her pitch. Britney uses an "Antares" voice modulator because she can't sing a note !!!
