to smoke under the age of 18? I know this might sound dumb but what age do you have to be to smoke. I dont want to theres this girl in my nieghbor hood thats smoke and she only about 15.

You have to be 18 to buy them as everyone else has said but I doubt that a minor could get locked up for smoking a cigarette.

You have to be 18 to purchase a pack but theres not age regarding the fact of the age to smoke. OMG, do you live in Colorado, i think i know who your are talking about.

i think you have to be 18. I do know in some cities the cops can give tickets for minors caught smoking.

I am pretty sure its 18 because you can't buy them until that age in the States.

Don't even think of starting until you are 65. Smoking by young ladies is highly dangerous and can effect your children in future years. It is also a great waste of money.
Incidentally, 'illeagle' is a sick bird. (illegal).

You don't hve to be any age to smoke a cigarette, but you have to be at least 21 to buy them, which sux cuz then anyone who wants to can just beg their dad to buy them, and if there dad has no morals at all, he will probably let them, my friend's dad used to let his kid smoke cigars! BLECH!!

She is definitely underage. Unfortunately, the only person who can do anything about it is her parents. The police/law don't bother with it. If she's buying them, you can turn in the person selling them to her, but that's about it.
