When I'm in a situation like you, I usually get the friend a $5 starbucks gift card and and nice, hand-made Christmas card. They appreciate it very much!

What about the little pre-prepared gift baskets you can get with scented lotions and soaps or something of that nature? Some of them are relatively inexpensive and are a good general gift for a female.

Take her out to dinner and let her choose the place. Then you both get to enjoy each other's company and have a good meal. I dont like getting friends gifts, I prefer experiences,.

You could try scented candles or aromatherapy candles. Like energy or relaxation ones. They light up every room and make a house smell nice and help to take stress away.

Get her a bath and body works thing that has all the different smell good things. You cant go wrong with something like that....its not too big and not too small.

OMG..there is nothing better than a gift card! that way you wouldn't have to worry wether she liked your gift or not...nothin better...trust me...
ASK her what is one of her favorite stores and put 50$ or more of spending money for the holidays!

Get her somthing girlie,but not to specific like clothes or shoes. Get her like a foot massager or a bath & body works type of thing.
