She hit me on the back of the head while I was eating my eggs. No warning - just BANG! It didn't break the skin but it hurt like a mother. She said a whole bunch of sh*t in Spanish but I have no idea what it was. She was really angry about something. I want to call the cops so she gets the picture, but my wife doesn't want her mother to get arrested. My wife couldn't get an explanation from her either. Maybe that's how they do it in Mexico, but not here. Should I call the cops and file a report? That was at eight this morning and my head is still throbbing. What a psycho! God...I wish they would deport this woman.

That's why I haven't gone to the hospital because I know they will ask questions. I think my head is fine - it just hurts - thanks for your concern.

I'm not so sure it would be a good idea to call the cops on your mother in-law it will just make the wife mad and do you want that.
I do recommend you go get it checked out though you may have suffered a concussion so best to be safe check it out if they ask tell them you slipped and wacked your head on a table. God Bless and Good Luck. But really find out why she hit you some how it would be good to know your wife must question and do not leave until you have an answer. Maybe it's because you didn't clean up after you made your breakfast?

Dude, that is not the way it is done in Mexico. I lived and got married there a while back. She must have a hate-thing for you. By the way, why is she living with you? Tell her to hit the road. I have nothing against any mother-in-laws but in my house, it is only me, my wife and my kids. No other relatives are allowed to stay for more than two nights. After that, I kick them to the curb. Make that police report and get her out of your house.

I would I wouldn't put up with that. Go to the hospital bro you don't want to go to sleep with an concussion. No one deserves to get in the head for no reason. Maybe she needs help. Do what you have to do for your safety.Your wife doesn't want her mom to get arrested too bad. She should have thought about it before she hit you. She needs to learn that its not acceptable. She needs to be held responsible for her actions.

If you love your wife then respect her that is her mom... On the other hand your wife needs to respect you so I think that you deserve and explanation! and make steps so this does not happen again... Is she living in your home? Can she move somewhere else? Just my thoughts..... Take some aspirin for your head ache

Did you go to the doctor? You need to make sure that you don't have a concussion. In most cases the doctor will ask you what happened and THEY will report since they are mandated reporters.

file a police report. she could have done some serious damage to you. with every action comes a consequence. she needs to think before acting. don't let her get away with this. what would have happened if you hit the mother with a frying pan.
